Remakery is a busy place right now. Our need for community is greater than ever!

Right now we're holding regular work sessions Wednesdays from Noon-3pm. Volunteers would help sort donations, fold and organize fabrics, etc.

​

​Saturdays are expected to be popular times for the public to visit the RemakerSpace, so if you want to craft along with visitors to our space and lend a hand when they need then we would love to have crafters & greeters volunteers on Saturdays either Noon-2pm or 2pm-4pm.

Our mission is: To provide the people of Tacoma access to education, tools and resources on the remaking, repair and reuse of post-consumer materials and waste; reducing waste while encouraging a circular economy.

Primarily this is done through workshops, classes and pop-up events where the public can create with existing materials. Events have included, sewing, fiber arts, paper arts, plastic recycling, and using natural materials for creating.
