Remakery is a busy place right now. Our need for community is greater than ever!

Volunteers are so important in helping with the day-to-day organization, prep and adding extra support to events.

​

Right now, the easiest way to sign up to volunteer is to email remakerytacoma@gmail.com and let us know specifically when you would like to volunteer in the upcoming month. You can state specific date and times, during open hours, that you would like to help with organizing. Or you can let us know what events you would like to assist with. If a time is already full, you will get an email back suggesting different events.

Our mission is: To provide the people of Tacoma access to education, tools and resources on the remaking, repair and reuse of post-consumer materials and waste; reducing waste while encouraging a circular economy.

​

Primarily this is done through workshops, classes and pop-up events where the public can create with existing materials. Events have included, sewing, fiber arts, paper arts, plastic recycling, and using natural materials for creating.
