About the Event

At this workshop you will have everything needed to make a patch from scraps, reused and reclaimed materials. All fabric, thread, tools and inspiration will be provided. Come create a tiny piece of art that can help mend a hole or jazz up a backpack or jacket.

Learn a little more about ways to utilize existing materials in new ways and reduce waste.

This is a free event. All materials and tools are provided. Materials are 100% post consumer meaning we use only reclaimed, recycled or donated.

Tacoma Sewing Club & Crafting Workshop

Sew Club Tacoma is a “book club style” sewing club designed to grow Tacoma’s sewing community. Sew Club Tacoma is an all-inclusive, safe, and encouraging space where ALL sewing enthusiasts are welcome from every level of the craft!

More third Thursday crafting opportunities:

Remakery Tacoma will host free workshops alongside Sew Club Tacoma, focused on developing mending and sewing skills. Come and learn a new craft! These workshops are open to all ages but are better suited for those familiar with needles and scissors. All materials and tools are provided. Materials are 100% post-consumer, meaning we use only reclaimed, recycled, or donated things.
