About the Event
Take fabric and tear them into strips. Use the strips to braid up a rug that is both functional and beautiful. During this event you can learn the process, start a rug and take additional materials to finish it at home. This project is good for anyone who can use a scissor or weave.
All materials and tools are provided. Materials are 100% post-consumer meaning we use only reclaimed, recycled or donated items. Feel free to bring sheets or jeans or material that can be turned into more weaving material.
