Quilt Coat Sewing

Join us for this sew-a-long where we will be making Quilt Coats. Quilt Coats are a super warm and cozy way to use thrifted quilts or quilts that have some holes or have seen better days. This project will use a pattern to cut out the coat, a serger for connecting the pieces and a sewing machine for the binding.

Project is good for those familiar with a sewing machine and those who have sewn using a pattern before. There will not be time to teach machine operations or pattern reading. For those who might be hesitant to do a full coat, there are quilts that would work for a child size. Please indicate what size coat you plan to make when getting your ticket. Ex. Adult Small or Child Large. This will help us have the right supplies.
