About the Event

Introduction to crochet and make a rug with textile scraps.

Use t-shirt yarn or any cut up textile waste as the bulk of the rug. Connect it all by crocheting around the yarn with a basic crochet stitch. This project is worked in rows and can be adapted to any size. Beginners will not have to worry about making rounds or curling sides. Expert crochet folks can play with making round rugs and fun shapes. Play with this fun project. Learn the process, start a rug, and take home free materials to work to complete the rug.


This is a free workshop that is open to all ages.  Project is good for anyone who can use a crochet hook. This is a basic introductory project.
